One of your trucks, with your name on it, drove up to 1 meter behind my rear bumper on the Dutch highway, endangering my family. If I had had to brake at that moment, an accident would have been inevitable. And this purely because the truck driver thinks he has the right to use the right lane. While I, with my Pro-Pilot, was driving neatly behind another truck in my electric car. I know that in Belgium you get a driver's license with a stick of butter: but this is extremely dangerous and irresponsible driving!

I'm ashamed of the way foreigners are being treated in this case. A Danish horse transporter and a personal friend contacted me to say his Renault truck had broken down near Overijse and asked if I could help. I searched online and found the company's website, which listed a 24/7 breakdown hotline. I gave them the number my friend contacted. He didn't speak Dutch, but he did speak perfect English. But because he spoke English and was a foreigner, they simply hung up without further explanation! What a disgrace. I later called the number myself to ask if they had actually hung up or if there had been a mistake. Apparently, there wasn't a mistake; they simply disconnected the call deliberately because they were afraid of losing their money, the bank guarantee. "He should call Renault first," I was told. I contacted my friend to explain the situation. Unfortunately, he could and can pay in cash. In an attempt to give this case a second chance, I contacted them again, but they simply didn't answer. What a disgrace, and a case to absolutely avoid. It's a shame this happened in Belgium. If they had explained the true story to him, this could have been completely different.
